Inspiration

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about the places, spaces, and faces around the University of Michigan campus that are visually interesting to me.  While I was abroad last year in Madrid, Spain, I brought my camera with me everywhere.  In a big city, it’s easy to find inspiration around every street corner.  Since I’ve called Ann Arbor home for four years now, I think I am beginning to take for granted everything our college town has to offer.  Hopefully I’ll report back with some great finds from the weekend.

Here are a few of my personal favorites from my time abroad.  Enjoy.

The Alhambra, Granada, Spain

Retiro Park, Madrid, Spain

El Escorial, Madrid, Spain

Sunset at Temple Debod, Madrid, Spain

Rose Garden at Parque Oeste, Madrid, Spain

  1. What camera do you use?? These pictures are amazing! You can see so much detail on all the flowers. I especially love the first one, the reflection on the water makes it so interesting.

  2. of course i love these photos–i know these places–temple debod and the rose garden–

you can tell that the camera is something that you keep with you–and that you consider revealing a particular perspective as second nature–
